Calaia Sears brings to RichWill over 20 years of experience in global and domestic logistics, with a career that expanded into telematics, GPS, and tracking solutions in 2014. She began her work in telematics with Qualcomm (Omnitracs‑Solera) and has since developed broad familiarity with fleet and asset management SaaS solutions across the market.
In addition to her logistics and technology background, Calaia is a licensed California real estate agent. Her diverse professional experience has cultivated a strong ability to collaborate effectively with organizations ranging from small and mid-sized enterprises to large-scale corporations, leverage technology to drive productivity, and streamline processes. Calaia places a high value on building trusted relationships that foster long-term, successful partnerships.

BRANDY PEARSON, P.E.
Mechanical Engineer and Analytics
Ms. Pearson is a California licensed mechanical engineer and technical writer with 15 years of experience. She’s led commercial and industrial engineering projects for a diverse portfolio of clients, including utilities, top-ranked hospitals, theme parks, food manufacturing, and college campuses. Notable clients include Westin, Disney, Monsanto, Target, AT&T, and UCLA.

DOUGLAS BARRY
Former Fire Chief of City of Los Angeles
Douglas Barry serves as an advisor to RichWill, providing subject-matter guidance on fire/rescue operations, emergency management, airport and seaport safety, resource deployment, and multi-agency preparedness for complex public environments. He is the former Fire Chief of the Los Angeles City Fire Department, one of the nation’s largest fire departments, and brings more than 30 years of experience in fire/rescue operations and emergency management for large complex urban environments.
His expertise includes leading emergency response organizations, overseeing incident command and resource deployment, developing policies and procedures, and coordinating with local, state, federal, and private-sector partners. He also served on the Los Angeles World Airports’ (LAWA’s) Safety and Security Committee and currently consults privately for the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY).

THOMAS PINE, Ph.D., P.E.
Mechanical Engineer
Thomas Pine serves as an advisor to RichWill, providing subject matter guidance on energy engineering work for commercial and industrial clients, with a special focus on building automation systems and central plants. He is a licensed professional mechanical engineer and holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine.
He has extensive experience leading advanced building systems, control optimization, and energy efficiency projects. His expertise also includes forensic investigations of building and control systems, third-party reviews of engineering calculations, and evaluations of project performance.

RichWill also has a silent partner, who is a clean energy and transportation strategist with 15 years of experience spanning technology development, renewable energy, commercial and industrial energy efficiency, and forming public-private partnerships with $160M+ in funded near-zero and zero-emission transportation projects delivered statewide. He has led research programs and innovative projects working with national labs, startups, and utilities – building a diverse portfolio of clients and expertise across the energy sector.
